A note from Sohini
Through my journey in life , one thing I have deeply realised and appreciated that each person is different and unique in their own way. And as I have come close to each of my connections through my earlier profession as well as a Psychotherapist and Mental Health Practitioner , I've seen that each is as beautiful as the other and carries immense potential within themselves. It just lies beneath to be unlocked the excavated. I am on my journey to help you become the truest and the best version of yourselves as a friend , as a fellow traveller through life , a guide , and as a therapist.
MY CREDIBILITY
Being a science graduate and an MBA, I have successfully worked in the corporate world for 12 years. My job, then, entailed providing training and managing operations for large teams and I felt excited each time I motivated my employees to reach for higher goals.
Though Psychology was a completely new domain for me, I quickly found interest in it, and completed my 2-year Post Graduate Cerrtification Course in Counselling and Psychotherapy and my Masters Program in Psychology. Since then it’s been 6 years I am working with people of all ages, gender and background in India and overseas, along with training myself in various modalities, strategies and techniques to build on my skills.
I am deeply committed to this craft and it reflects in the positive feedback that I keep receiving from my clients all the time. With my earlier experience as a professional, and my exposure and experience as a psychotherapist, I now see life in full circle.
I am also a mother of my two beautiful daughters who have given me a new dimension and purpose of living, and who never stop reminding me of the true meaning and joy of life!
With this, I am excited and ready to share my learnings and experience with you all!

HOW DO I HELP?
In my everyday practice as a therapist, I notice that people are caged in their own thoughts, misconceptions and false beliefs and suffer their whole lives. They constantly underestimate themselves, feel unloved and unseen and feel lost in their way through life.
The truth is, that we all are very different from one another and we have our own unique traits and potentials, dreams and aspirations. We are all born perfect !! However, on our way through life, somehow we lose that magic and keep looking outwards for the meaning and purpose of life – through material belongings, relationships, degrees, and professional successes. And we lose touch with our inner self – the self which we were meant to be, the self that is truly who it is we are!
In my sessions, I give you a safe and non-judgmental space, where we together explore your thoughts, emotions, and desires and uncover the unhealthy patterns that are leading to psychological sufferings. I help you connect the dots of your life, find out the missing pieces, and pave a new path towards your well-being. Together we unravel your true inner self and marvel at the beauty that lies within each one of you!
My practice is embedded in modalities like Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Humanistic & Schema Therapy, however, I follow an eclectic approach.
My core areas of work include managing depression, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges and building self-esteem.
